I'm in my 9th month!

It's so crazy to be in my 9th month! We are getting so close to meeting our baby and I think it's really hitting us now. We are trying to get things organized and get last minute baby things done. We are getting really excited! I feel REALLY pregnant now. It's been nice being tall because a lot of the things I hear people complain about haven't hit me till now. Just recently I've started to feel heavy and feeling like the baby is pushing into my ribs. I have started feeling tired again too.
some days I feel really tired and other days I feel pretty normal.

Most of my cloths don't fit anymore. I'm still wearing non-maternity things but the all the t-shirts I have are getting to short in front. I've started wearing Jared's shirts around the house. It's so annoying to have everything so tight all the time and it's a nice break to put a big t on! I probably should have bought more maternity things but now that I'm so close to the end I just figured I'll work with what I have.

The baby is moving all the time and poking something out of my stomach on the left side. I'm not sure if it's an elbow, fist or foot but it gets my attention when it sticks out! The Midwifes said my baby is head down so it just confuses me! I always try to feel my belly to try and tell where the baby is but I just can't figure it out. I do know the midwifes are right about the head down part though because I feel hiccups down there!

Babymoon!

We had an awesome babymoon. It couldn't have come at a better time. Jared and I were dieing to get away. Things have been so busy for both of us and it just seems like we haven't had any down time. For our babymoon we went to Ventura beach. The first night we went down town and had dinner at this cool place called Watermark Restaurant. The restaurant is in a historic building that dates back to 1907! They had Jazz music and it was such a cool atmosphere.

The next morning we slept in, ate breakfast by the pool and then went to the beach. It was a babymoon miracle because it was supposed to rain but it turned out to be sunny and nice. I dug a hole and got to lay on my tummy which was so relaxing! Then we got lunch and went to the shops down town. Ventura is a cool place and they had lots of unique shops. We went to this place off main street called "sea things" and I could have bought the whole store! They had tons of real shells, coral, shell jewelry and home decor things. I got a star fish, a soap dispenser and a few tiny shells.

Afterwards we went to this overlook and relaxed with an amazing view of the ocean. It was so nice to have a day were we didn't have a schedule and we could just relax and enjoy being together. Our grand finally was going to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner! It was so yummy! We had a great babymoon and felt very lucky to have had the opportunity to get away.

I love General Conference!

I love General Conference. It is always so nice to hear all the talks and I always feel so inspired. One of my favorite quotes was from Dieter F. Uchtdorf's talk on Sunday morning. He said “Preach the gospel at all times and if necessary, use words.” I remember it really standing out to me at the time because it's so true. There are so many ways to preach the gospel with out saying a word.

The Dodgers are back!

We were so lucky to get to go to opening day and Friday and Saturday's games of the opening series! We had a blast and the baby liked it too. Every time the crowd went crazy the baby moved! I'm so glad it's baseball season again and we are trying to get as many games in as possible before the baby comes.

Baby Shower/33 weeks!

My friends from my ward Stacy, Jackie and Sara threw me an awesome baby shower. The food was so yummy and Stacy made blue and white candy covered pretzels. It was so fun to see everyone. I feel so lucky to have so many awesome people in my life.

After!

This is what it looks like now!

Before

Jared and I have been working on projects around our apartment. Jared painted and recovered chairs and I cleaned the carpets, made pillows, recovered the baby swing (my sister gave me her swing but it was pink and since we are having a boy I thought brown would be better). We've been trying to organize and make space for baby stuff too. I'm so happy with how things are coming along. this are the before pics. I felt like our apartment looked so dark and dingy. We got our dinning room chairs used and they had stains on them.
